even if your registrar does hosting you dont *have* to use it ;)
most registrars already host or will be moving that way.
try enom or 49reg or ..

Alot of the registrars seem to be offering some type of hosting now too.
We recommend 000domains.com or godaddy.com for clients that wish to register their own name.
Of the two, I prefer 000domains.com (13.50 year) although they are abit higher than godaddy, they offer a very easy interface for domain management and good support should you need it.

I was swinging on namecheap before moving to ev1. Ev1 is perfect now for my needs. Would love a more graphical domain cp but its okay i guess- Paypal acceptance would be great too.

Really... You do realize that it's possible for ev1 to customize the confirmation mails and such so that they try to upsell your customers to their services after the order... Right? :)

The domain would be managed by us, so, no direct emails from the company to them would ever take place. so thats not a problem...

So you don't put the customer down as the admin contact on their domain ?
so you deny the owner of the domain the right to manage it however they like ?
Are your customers aware of this ?
all aside from the fact ev1 could simply email sales@<everydomaintheyregd> and probably get 90% of them deliered to your customers to upselll stuff ...

Well, no, its more of a privacy thing, and yes, they would be aware of this, and I dont realy want them getting a **** load of emails saying "Hosting this" "Free parking" etc. - and yes, they would be award of this, lots of hosts do that anyway, they buy domains from godaddy, and just put a faulse ID on it, well, an id they own, and they look after it, only dif is the whois... be nice to get a reseller somewhere, but hey

So you're renting domain names rather than selling them then? Do you allow customers who cancel to retain their domain names?

Of course. but this topic is not about me and what my plans are, I'm just looking for a nice cheap place, that I can resell domains, well, buy, in bulk,
