I'm doing work for a company that has an Interland hosted account with Mercantek Softcart.

The company just went through reorganization and the old webmaster is history. Interland will not help me, and we have no kind of agreement with Mercantek. I have full(ftp) access to the server, and have been working with the company to get them back up and profitable.

The bottom line:
I need to admin the softcart and can not get logged into it. I have the username, and the file that actually stores the password. What would be really great is if someone who had one of these could email me a copy of this file with a specified password that I can replace the current one with.

I can be reached currently at the company, and will reveal the name/site/info to a party that can help us.

We just trashed a SoftCart store, it was a pain in the arse to maintain. But I
usually keep a backup of files & notes, so I might have what you are looking for. Send
me a PM and I'll let you know.
