I've always found this weird as most of the names mean NOTHING at all to anyone or anything. Most probably won't even have accidental traffic. Now I do know that they are worth money because I have sold some in the mid $xx,xxx range. Comments?

Comment since you asked. I sure wish I could just sell one at that price. WoW! I could pay down my student loans. Anyway, I think many folks like the 3 letter domains because they are short and easy to remember.

LOL! Then how come you had them in the first place? Just curious.
By the way, even low 5-figure is very good price for 3-letter .com now.

You can buy them for a couple hundred these days with letters like: z,x,v,y,j,q.
I think many people wish they could get 5 figures :D

Because I knew it would be worth money but now I'm wondering why people pay a couple hundred bucks a pop for undeveloped domains that mean nothing. :D I just found it strange that people do buy those at ridiculous prices, how are they easy to remember if you can't brand yourself to the domain? Personally I'd rather go with a one syllable four or five letter word that's easier to brand myself to.

Now if everyone would just understand that fundamental difference, it would be nice :)
I must have read 3 letter blah blah so many times, when in fact it is character.
Numbers are NOT letters. :D
