Is there a decent book on Sun's RAQ solutions that I should get to learn administering and installation or is it very simple to administer?

More or less pretty simple for the most part (usual set up and running), though it doesn't have any info on problems (check here and the uer mailing-list for that). PDF file on cobalt's site. Is that what you are looking for?
