Please accept my apologies for sticking this in here (and probably the wrong place), but this is a lil desperate.

We've got our own US based servers. However a web design client needs UK-based only Windows hosting. This is because to be listed in the UK searches, the server location must be in the UK. Using a .co.uk domain isn't an option.

So I'm looking for Windows 2003 hosting preferably. I also need Helm.

- I'm looking for a small reseller package.
- Helm would be nice
- The ability to edit MX records is a must.
- Uptime guarantee of at least 99.5%. This is a heavily used business website and they will moan very badly if it's down too much!
- Responsive 24 / 7 technical support.
- two ip's for private nameservers.
- I also need ASP scripting and access capability.
- MS SQL would be lovely if possible.

Again, sorry for posting this in here, but I need to find a solution quick so I can get the ball ralling today and the site up for Monday.

Cost wise- I don't work for peanuts, so I don't expect to pay it. I'm willing to look at a variety of options as I'm rather desperate.

I would reccomend taking a look at www.catalyst2.com I dont think there are many better UK windows hosts around.

If you drop them an email i'm sure they will be able to work you out a plan with 2ip's for your private name servers.

UK searches need UK web hosting :rolleyes: At least Google does not.

Check "web hosting london" we have 2 sites there, currently #8 (www.web-hosting-australia.net) and #11 (www.netspaceinternet.com) and we are in XO, Fremont.

Try a google search from www.google.co.uk for your company and tell me if it comes up ;)

Then that's weird....because it doesn't work for any of our sites we've got hosted in the US.

I can't take the risk either. The client I'm needing it for would lose a lot of business from losing the UK search results. He'd kill me!

i think the box is based in the UK if it's not it'll be at ev1. uses helm. ask for an address you can ping, btw support isn't up to scratch imo. hope you find what you're looking for :)
