Hello,

I am new to these forums and I just wanted to raise a few of the concerns I am having with my host. I just recently moved from Alabanza to BurstNet. The move went ok and all seemed ok until I needed support.

I am currently experiencing problems reaching BurstNet support staff. I have sent countless messages and called numerous times, and it seems that it has all been ignored. I have been waiting for over 2 weeks to have questions answered and still no progress.

Is there anyone else (hosting with BurstNet) that is having similar problems? I would love to know.

Cheers

Do a search and you'll find plenty around here about Burst.net

I have personally answered 4-5 tickets for you within minutes of your writing them, on the same day. I don't call that a "problem with support", but rather "exceptional service".
You may have one ticket that was transferred to the cpanel programmers as it is a bug/code error or something, but that does not mean our staff is not doing their job in regards to support. I monitor our support ticket system daily, and the amount of open tickets and ticket response times has been more than acceptible lately...better than ever. I advise opening a ticket with any outstanding inquiry(s), and if that does not work, please email me directly at sean@burst.net and I would be more than happy to assist you myself. Don't let this turn into another BurstNET tech support thread, as this is not the proper place to obtain support for our services.

Since *this* is the question, I can't see how this would turn into a support thread, unless Sean started answering support requests, which is not permitted. Do we sometimes ignore some posts... yes. In this thread, I cannot see it turning into this, so let's stay on topic...

I am dealing with BurstNet support directly with any issues that I may have and as was pointed out earlier, I was just wanting to hear from others if they had similar experiences.

Thats All

True, you monitor it, but don't answer them all.

More than acceptable lately? Does that mean it was unacceptable before? Let me tell you SEAN, you only post here when people attack your company (and by looking at the amount of posts you have, you are attacked a lot...I wonder why?).

Why don't you just hire more people, or help out those who are in need, instead of coming up with the "We are doing it, I don't know what you are talking about, blah, blah, blah."

If we were not having problems with your support, we would not post here. It is that simple.

Now, we wait for the great comeback ....

Do some research before you start spouting at the mouth.
BurstNET HAS hired more people.

BurstNET has VERY FEW complaints on this forum in the past 4-5 months since we:
1) Left VDI and opened our own data center...thus increasing network uptime.
2) Hired more staff to deal with support/admin issues.
3) Initiated a support ticket system to deal with all support issues.

There is going to be a complaint once in awhile...no matter what company is in question.
No company is perfect...no matter who they are.
I think you'll find in the past few months that some companies around here that have great reputations, have actually had ALOT more complaints than BurstNET...so what does that tell you? Couple that on top of the fact that BurstNET is MANY times larger than these companies....and should percentage-based have ALOT more complaints than these companies....BUT WE DON'T.

As the thread starter I feel that I need to address what is happening here and ask that the thread please be closed.

It appears that there was nobody that could assist me with my question "Is there anyone else ....[snip]..to know." and that's that.

What appears to have happened is that people have used this post as an opportunity to launch attacks on one another. People, there are far more important things to worry about in the world today, and as I stated my problems are being addressed by BurstNet.

I have been extremely happy with the uptime, network performance and service I have received, and I would be happy to recommend BurstNet to others. This appears to be an isolated case and the thread just confirmed (through nobody else coming forward) that it was just that. Isolated.

To Chicken, thank you for trying to keep this thread on topic and under control. Could you now see to it that the thread is closed. I think that there are too many personal agendas floating about

Regards

Sorry Metro, not enough time before others started posting (which could be removed, but at this point...). One of the people participating in the thread was banned and reinstated on one condition, a condition they agreed to, yet seem to be unable to uphold (which really annoys me, but that's a whole 'nuther story).

Just because a host *was* getting rave reviews 6 months ago doesn't mean they still get them today and likewise, just because a host had problems 6 months ago, doesn't mean they haven't corrected them. This is a general comment, not specific to Burst as I no longer have an account with them, and thus cannot offer any input either way.
