Just wanting to know if anyone have a situation like this, and how should I process, asking paypal looks like useless, and client still dont answered mails ...
So, it looks like fraud to me, or whatever.
As I read... it's like the client used a FRAUD bank account on her Paypal account to make the payment ?

anyway, if anyone have ideas.... let us know :)

Regards.

Possibly.

Was this a hosting account? I would terminate it asap.

Isn't it a bit hard to use a fraud bank account? Isn't it a bit impossible? Just a thought... You do have to verify you know.

Also seller protection wouldn't help it's service base. Looks like there trying to make money "The transaction was reversed because you were not covered by PayPal's
Seller Protection Policy."
Oh well, thats why we all love paypal... or not.

Well, it was not just hosting, but a dedicated server.

I also see kinda "impossible" or VERY HARD at least to use a fraud bank account..... but that's what paypal said.
".... we determined that you received funds from an account with reports of fraudulent bank account use."

So well, I really dont know, hope I can contact the client.
anyway, I suspended the server already, but that things make us afraid of paypal, not for the problem itself, but being paypal a monster as it is, it's very hard to talk with anyone except with a machine you know. (same with mails, support, etc.)
when it works, it's excellent, but when you have a problem... hrm... there you go....

Regards.

I would suggest using Authorize.net or true merchant to pay for dedicated servers. Paypal is to easy to get your money back.

Just a few cents :/

I would also suggest you contact paypal for more information. Also ask them wasn't it verified? Tell them that you had to pay ect.. Call them and call them again untill you win.

He could contact them and make it legal ;) Hand it to a collections agency.

Collections Agencies are good :)
they will found a legal way to pay you your money (supposing $200) but charge the client another $1000 in concept of their services.
you get your money, they get a lot of money, and the people who made you the "fraud joke" will end paying 5 times what it should.

You ask Paypal for the users bank account number and bank name, then you contact the bank finding out who owned it and you report them to the Collecton agency. It's bascilly what everyone said above but to take it a bit farther contact the local police and tell them about it they will arrest him and the bank with no allow an account with him, paypal will not allow an account with them either. He goes to jail with bail I think and still has to pay you lol.

Actually I think I know what happened here.

You can call your bank and have them reverse an ETF if it was fraudulent.

I did this to Paypal once when they did two "instant transfers" overdrawing my account.

Anyhow, collection agency seems to be a great idea. :D

It happen to me before. I have customer who do a chargeback and paypal refund my money to him automatically after I send my car parts to him. I learn that whenever your buyer send you money , you should check whether the seller protection is eligible or not. If not, refund the money to the buyer immediatedly.
