HI Dudes

Just wondering if any one could help me hiding my server IP address in Internet explorer address bar. Not sure if Binding is the right jargon. At this moment when I type my domain name I can see http://105.xxx.xxx.xx:99/main.asp .
What do I need to set up on my server to see http://www.mydomain.com/main.asp.

I am hosting this site myself on my home box running Win 2003 server.

Any comments welcome.

Check out mydomain.com They have free dns services. All u need is the domain and fixed ip.

I assume by the :99 at the end that this site is running at home, and you're getting around the port-blocks your provider has put in place? :)

Try zoneedit.com - they're a free dns service that will allow you to do what you're asking - that way you just type in the domain name and it gets forwarded 'auto-magically' to the right port and IP.

Back in the day I was using a box at my home to serve up a couple of low traffic websites and I used zoneedit for DNS. I use http://www.everydns.net/ for secondary DNS at this moment in time and it works great also.
