As far as I am concerned bandwith is the only factor for me when decidind a price. How do i know what to give in a plan? What is a basic pricing structure? I see people giving away hosting services(at least it looks to me as if they are givving it away)

My company has been in the hosting business for over 2 years. We have less than 25 customers. My partner and I have other jobs, but we give good service. We have set up our support system to send bosth of us a text meaasage on our cell phones if a ticket comes in.

I want to take my comany to the next level. I just need some ideas on plans and pricing. Right now I do not think that I can compeate with the other host on this fourm. Any suggestions are welcome.

If you ask us to build plans for you, you'll be building the same plan as a ton of other companies already offer, try and think differently and copete using product differentiation instead. Bare in mind we also know nothing about your finances/expenses and basically you need to offer what you can afford and turn a profit.

You should set your plans around bandwith then, give lots of features and limit bandwith.

But can I compete with limited bandwith that seems to be everyones selling point

Many hosts limit bandwith, the ones that offer unlimited bandwith are the ones that are more prone to going under and over selling services.

So what would be a good rule of thumb when setting prices based on bandwith?

My finacials are not that important. I do not own any equipment and if need get a better package to be competive than I will.

Thank you for your resonpces
