First thing I thought of was a toaster. :D But looking at it some more, it looks pretty snazzy. :) Steve Saw 12-02-2003, 01:42 PM You'd think these systems would come standard with wireless controllers now-a-days. Everybody has them! But yeah, that looks like it should be on your kitchen counter, not your entertainment center  Aussie Bob 12-02-2003, 01:43 PM Originally posted by N9ne Sony hitting the kitchen world too now eh? :D Best of both worlds - You and ya mates are all playing some cool game, and Fred says, "u want honey on your pancake?" No need to head off to the kitchen to make your pancakes!! Of course, sticky fingers and game controllers never mix. :D hostpath.com 12-02-2003, 01:52 PM Originally posted by Steve-VST You'd think these systems would come standard with wireless controllers now-a-days. Everybody has them! Yeah, if they could come up with wireless controllers that WORK on a regular basis. I bought one for the PS2 and found that in certain games it didn't work properly. So I returned it and tried a different brand, and it TOO had problems with some games. Never had a moment of trouble with the standard wired controllers. Bah. Kimmikat 12-02-2003, 03:18 PM I prefer the box. Palindrome 12-02-2003, 04:19 PM Doesn't look to bad...but not to good either. Steve Saw 12-02-2003, 04:22 PM Ditto, Kim. But also, the wireless controller made by Nintendo for the GameCube worked about 30 feet away for me. If Sony could develop something, I'm sure they could perfect the technology. sHosts 12-02-2003, 04:37 PM They need to make it a pyramid:) That would be cool.. hehe Or a round sphere.... null 12-02-2003, 05:01 PM Originally posted by sHosts They need to make it a pyramid:) That would be cool.. hehe Or a round sphere.... How about invisible? :D VH-Robert 12-02-2003, 05:18 PM why don't they all (all the system makers, Nintendo, Sony, etc) get together and build systems that can be stacked ontop each other. ArcticKid 12-02-2003, 09:32 PM Their first image of PS3 looked like a freaking block of holey cheese. Cirtex 12-02-2003, 09:40 PM hmm, well, it sure looks unique for a gaming system ;) I'm not sure if many will accept it as a gaming system though hmmm Tazzman 12-02-2003, 11:09 PM Of course it's a gaming system. Frisbee is a game, isn't it? :D RHShawn 12-02-2003, 11:17 PM looks wicked :P hauss 12-03-2003, 03:26 AM http://www.gfxartist.com/community/elite_gallery/25866 I think everyone's been had. Knogle 12-03-2003, 04:58 AM That's an incredible piece of work (the graphic). :santa2: Biowaste XP 12-03-2003, 05:23 AM rofl, I thought that it was real. Wow, I was surely fooled. 123 Logo Design 12-03-2003, 07:41 AM N5 all the way! digitok 12-03-2003, 08:03 AM You've gotta admit, that's some damn sweet and realistic graphics. illuzhen777 12-09-2003, 11:41 PM I think its cool, but yeah under the cd drive, you can prolly put your pancakes in. (They decided to implement that instead of wireless controllers) I think it looks cool though Vox Hosting 12-11-2003, 12:34 AM http://www.thepulse.com/Forums/ViewPosts.aspx?TopicID=561 The image itself has been around for quite a while, since June, in the archives of a French graphic artist's website. The image was created several months ago by a 23 year old French, graphic artist by the name of Julien Vanhoenacker, a.k.a kanex. Vanhoenacker apparently originally showcased the PS3 image at his small design studio site which can be found by visiting: http://www.omind.net/ Julien does not work for Sony and the image is not an official concept image. Nintendo's Wavebird wireless controllers work perfectly. Only downsides are batteries and higher cost. |
