Hi,

I was wondering if the post count frmo The Requests Forum have been deleted or what?

The reason I'm asking is because I've been registered since October of 2000 and I barely have 250 posts...As you can see I'm an infrequent post but I read basically every day.

There are other people on the other hand who have been here for a couple of months and they have a few thousand posts.

I know many who who a tonne of posts only post in the requests/offers forum. So, after those forums where purged, were the posts also deleted? Or are they just sitting there without a place to go and the posts count for the users post count?

Thanks

Matt

The post counts from the removed request forums were removed at the same time.

That being said, remember that post count really means nothing. It is the quality of posts that matter, not the volume of them.

The Forums were moved; not deleted.

When they were moved, we removed the "Count posts towards member's total" thingy and updated counters.

Maybe getting off on a side track here :) but will they ever be totally deleted, or will they just sit there out of public view?

Heh. I'll bet he meant prosopopoeia. The nature of the request forums being Satan.

How come the forums are being kept?
Is there really any point for keeping the forums?
Are they still counting towards the total post count of the forum?

For the purpose of prosperity, posterity and prosopopoeia.
