Dose the domain registration process force you to give DNS server ?

( I understand that it possible to have no record in that DNS zone)

If you don't have active name server records for a domain there will be lots of unanswered DNS queries and this is bad for the internet.

Domain names won't work without name server entries and you can't register them without name servers.

One way round this is to use a registrar that provides free parking.
This means that your domain will be set up on their DNS and pointed to an under construction page.
Almost all do - even if they don't tell you they do.
Its common practice.
