Hi Guys,

I have a client who pusrchased a database that will work on Oracle, and they need it on my server.

Im a linux reseller. If ever, whose license for Oracle should I use, mine, my clients or my linux host provider? As my client is willing to purchase the license, while I dont have my own yet.

Also, are there hosts that can already give us Oracle on their servers? If so, who do you guys recommend?

Thanks

{Edit} I misread post as for asking for install instructions.

You need to contact Oracle sales for the answeres to your questions. Their licensing and pricing is very complicated and a sales person is the only one likely to give you the real answers.

We had a client that needed Oracle on a dedicated server. We set them up with a server that ran Red Hat Enterprise Linux 3.0 and leased it to them. They provided the Oracle license and they installed Oracle themselves over the 'Net.

This may or may not help with your situation, but at least it's a data point for you to consider.
