Hello,

How long does it take to receive the approval e-mail from GeoTrust? I purchased my GeoTrust SSL Certificate at 6:30pm yesterday and completed everything (generating a CSR and so forth) and I received an e-mail stating that I will shortly receive another e-mail for approval. It is now 5:14am and I have yet to get some sleep in nearly 48+ hours!

EDIT: I have also called them twice and they said that they will get their technical team to send it to me...still nothing.

Are you sure the email address entered for the approval email was correct? These emails usually come immediately, one after another. I've only just purchased an SSL cert and everything has arrived within minutes of purchasing it, the purchase was only about 10 minutes ago. If you have access to your email logs, you can check to see if you got the email from geotrust.com to see if there is a problem routing it to your account maybe.

If nothing has arrived, then you should email GeoTrust and explain to them that you're not getting these approval emails.

Yes, I verified the e-mails in which was entered, but I am not getting a single approval e-mail.

For Geotrust QuickSSL, after the phone verification I got my certificate in under 5 minutes.

Yep, I get ours in about 5 minutes after phone verification, I'd suggest giving them another call or contacting your reseller.

So, you all received the approval e-mail right after something like the following e-mail was sent?

Yep, that was received and then the approval email follows straight after, sent to the email address that you chose during the ordering process at GeoTrust (not at Ev1Servers ordering page).

I made sure all of the e-mail addresses were entered were correct. I have called them FIVE times now just to get the same run-around. I am about to call the BBB

email ssl@ev1servers.net, they do not deal with ssl issues on the phone. You probably wont get a reply until monday though.

I already e-mailed them. Also, when I called GeoTrust, they stated that they had Technical Support people available and now they are saying (when I just called again) that Technical Support is off for the weekend. This is just irritating with all of the damn run-around ********.
