Anyone who is using a 1 Mbit or 2 Mbits capped line here? Can you share your experience in terms of the amount of bandwidth you can use (not what the line is capable of pushing) and average usages ?

I use 1M capped line with a SDSL business line I have. Are you talking a co-located site or dedicated link? A 1MB or 2MB "all you can eat" line can be good for some sites... it depends if your site tends to send all day or has peak periods... Ericwenlong 09-16-2001, 01:17 PM Yes, a ded. pipe for someone having servers. Anyone can push near 250 or 300 GB of bandwidth from a 1 Mbit ded. pipe? XTNet 09-16-2001, 04:10 PM Eric- I wouldnt dare try and do 300gb/mo on a 1mbit pipe... Its doable, but... I was on a 1.5mbs pipe doing 80gb/mo and my site was SLOW as MOLASSAS! Just a word of advice.
