we are considering cj to create our affiliate program. we have been watching them for quite some time.

many hosts have come and gone, they now have a downpay of 1200 plus 500 min balance and 250 min per month.

some decent hosts use this service some have left

does anybody have experience with them, good, bad other?

gracias,

We stopped using CJ because they are a supporter of SCUMWARE.

Use them if you like, but many webmasters and site owners won't do business with them and have cancelled their affiliations.

BELOW QUESTION SENT TO CJ TODAY, SHOULD I HOLD MY BREATH FOR THE ANSWER?

hello,

i have recently given thought to joining your services as an advertiser.

today i have posted questions about you on several discussion boards and am finding a recurring problem that may stop me from using your services.

what is gator?

why do webmasters and advertisers claim it is stealing from them?

what is your position on them?

i run a web hosting company and when questions of this financial seriousness are asked me if i don not respond thoroughly, that is sufficient answer to chase off clients.

please help me understand what this issue is and why it may effect me.

A good place to start is the SCUMWARE site at http://www.scumware.com

This should give you a jump start.

Ezula TopText, Spedia Surf+_ and Gator are all covered and you will see what this software is and does.

Spend some time and read through it all, there is alot of information but it is all important.

Frankly, If a webhost supported this spoftware or advertised using it I would cancel all my accounts and urge all their other customers to do the same.

Well if you're concerned about them working, I've gotten 2 checks from them off of selling dotster domains, vbulletin boards, ink, and some other stuff. They do send out their checks and I love the setup. Sorry to bring a positive to the negative, but as long as you aren't doing the advertising for those specific places, I don't see the problem. If those places don't get any money for being affiliates then they'll eventually just not be an affiliate.
