Can you guys recommend me some good Aqua/ XP Style Icons designer. I have seen a thread similar to this before, but it wasnt of much help.

My programmers will be done with a web application very soon and I wanna make it look professional - add a little style to it kind of a thing before I release it.

Please post website.... examples of work...err... username on WHT ......or anythingelse you think will be helpful for me.

I like foood.net the best. I have never tried to make icons before. Do you have to make them a certain size? I would like to try it sometime. It is saved as .ico???

icon size depends on what you need them for, if it's for a system like win it's usually 32x32 pixels or 16x16 pixels, but if you are going for the web, they can be any size, icons for the web are images of .gif .png .jpeg or any format suitable for the net, whilst icons for win have a .ico extension

If you like the icons found in Windows XP, I recommend going to their creators, The Icon Factory. design.iconfactory.com . They do custom work and have a line of stock icons available for sale. If you don't see what you are looking for there you will find a showcase and links to dozens of icon creators at iconfactory.com.
