Without getting into the "terror" part, I'm curious what others feel about the Towers.
I watched a movie tonight that showed various scenes with the towers in the background and personally found it helped to refresh my memory of what was supposed to be there. The news has really started to take the memory of the towers out of my mind and replaced it with the current scenes.
Should we really delete the towers from games/movies that had originally contained them?

I voted *drumroll* Yes. But I think mainly the flight simulator should be a concern. Planes and the WTC are not a good game combination at the time being.

I don't know what's the big deal. What's happened has already happened. It's not like Flight Sim can teach someone else to fly INTO the wtc again... If M$ were sincere they'd pull the entire game out of the market. Yeah right... :rolleyes:
And in like 5 years there'll be an entire film on this tragedy, and the producers will rake in millions and laugh all the way to the bank... and we'll all thank him for it. This world is really screwed up that way. It's not ok to smoke now, but it's ok to run an entire tobacco company tomorrow.

I think it should be deleted from flight simulator, but not from everything like movies, other games, etc. Because if so, it will be just like saying to the terrorists, ok, you won, we'll delete everything from the WTC as you wish.
As Skeptical said, movies about the tragedy will hit the theater in a few years. It will be just like the Titanic tragedy, i am sure they wanted to delete everything from it back in the days, but look at what James Cameron did.
Just my 2 cents :)

You could still fly your plane into one of the other high buildings or what is the difference in crashing a plany into a low building or into the ground?
What good will it bring us to remove those buildings from existing games and movies and posters?
Now sadly they are gone so as SoftWareRevue says I agree 100% with his statement;
Everything pre 9/11 as is.
Everything post 9/11 as is.

it's kind of weird that a major movie (can't remember the name) was scheduled to be released this october that had a skyscraper being blown up by terrorists...i think they are delaying the release....
