Hello,

Recently one of my friends swiped his card at 2checkout to buy a software/script. Well, he got the script and he's been billed by his CC company also. No problems towards these issues.

But he is worried that, he has not recieved any invoice from 2checkout, and he says thats not the way to do biz.

Many of you use 2checkout either as a merchant or a buyer, anyone has idea, if they do send out invoices on purchases on behalf of their merchants ??

Thanks much
Cheers

Its been more than 20 days since the purchase was made.
Is it the responsibility of teh merchant or 2checkout to send out invoices ??
Thanks

I'm not 100%, but WorldPay sends out a receipt when a transaction is made. I am not too sure what's up with 2CheckOut, some one more familiar with that can probably help you out!

I think that the best solution is to contact 2checkout. There is a tool-free number on their homepage.

I would like to use 2checkout however it is so expensive when you can use PayPal for free.

WOW strange how his question goes unanswered with lots of comments but not answers. As stated 2checkout does provide recepts. As stated above yes, if it becomes a problem call them. In my experience I believe they call you for payment confimation. However I hear they have been lacking. It could also be a problem with your friends email account. In result some providers think blocking emails is fun, e.g. aol.

We used 2checkout for a pay per view a couple years ago. The rates fit into the budget at the time. One problem we faced was they considered our first two orders fraudulent from Canadian customers claiming the ips were from Mexico. We then did the processing ourselves after that. I was left trying to explain over the phone to those two customers what the problem was and when asked about whether they ordered from Mexico on a laptop or something, the answer was "I wish!". Has anyone experienced such problems with processors or was this an unusual coincidence?

Thank you Reddrake and others. I guess, i should ask my friend to contact 2checkout directly. his only concern is that he has not recieved invoice and/or reciepts. Rest everything is fine... like the order was processes, CC was billed and the software was recieved by the merchant.

Thanks everyone again.
