They do lock the door. They apparently lured a pilot out on one plane by killing passengers and flight attendants. They then over powered the pilots took over and did there stupid crap. You need to understand that flight staff are trained for such instances. It just doesnt help all of the time unfortunatly. Maybe more training is necissary in future, and maybe they should bring back that idea of having an armed officer on board every flight.

but you can still break them down

also you can fake a accident or have soem one get out of hand and the pilot will have to respond to that.

they used to have armed in plane clothes people on every flight
they should go back to that

my dad is a retired United Captain so to hear hsi views are quite interesting to say the least.

Airline companies are making way to much money adn caring less about people.
they have become a bus system where it use to be a great way to travel.

they need to impose tighter security to say the least.

also tighten up FBO security and ramp security this is a big loophole !!!

I find it hard to believe that any pilot would hand over the controls under ANY circumstances, they would have to bust the door in to get me out, and Id come out swingin'

I very much doubt any pilot would hand over the controls
the pilots would fight to there death first before giving up control of there plane.
not sure if you were just thinking that or you heard it from some where ????
but trust me a pilot would not give up his control
