Does anyone knows how to change the nameserver of domain in Stargateinc.
The control panel is very good and stupid.
It says you have to make new host and if I try to change the name servers then it create probs.
Please let me know how to change the nameservers

Hi,
I think its the best when you use the Live-Support from Stargate, I have also from Time to Time Problems to Update DNS and then use Live-Support and they solve it for Me.

You were probably attempting to create a nameserver.
Yes.....some parts of stargate cp are stupid ;)
You need to work with the tab that says "Name Servers"
Not the one that says "DNS Panel"
Log into your account/
Edit Domain Info/
Name Servers/
Enter primary and secondary nameserver information
Ex: ns1.nameserver.com
###.##.####.##
ns2.nameserver.com
###.##.####.##
Click "Udate Nameservers"/
You're done!

Are these 'your' nameservers then?
If they are; have you registered them?
Post your nameservers, with IPs, so we can help you know if they are registered.
It sounds like this is the problem.
Of course you can register them at stargate using the DNS Panel tab.
Provided you have the required IPs.

I booked the domain name 6 months back from stargateinc.com At that time this domain was hosted on otherserver.
But now I want to register it as nameserver and I also want to host this domain on same servers.
So I told my host to make the nameserver of this domain.
I got primary
ns.domain.com
IP
x.x.x.x.
ns2.domain.com
x.x.x.x
But when I make changes in stargateinc its says invalid nameserver please check from
nsregistry.com

From my experience, that error is caused by invalid name servers. Do your name servers appear in the whois at nsiregistry.com?
If not use the create host tab to create your name servers. You can only create name servers for domains you own and control. Also, the IP's must be internet routable and UNIQUE.

It looks like you are trying to use a name server which is not yet created, Your host would not have created the name server for your domain , he would just have given you the Ips that you should use,
now if you want to have name servers on is domain.com (which is your domain which is at stargate) , first you will have to define ns and ns2.domain.com
Which is done in create host section in stargate panel
Once this os done then you will be able to change name servers to ns and ns2.domain.com
