Where can i find a dedicated server for $150 a month with 45GB-50GB of bandwidth? I wanted a virtual host since i don't know a thing about dedicated..... only one i could find close to that price was cheapservers.net if i went dedicated i wonder if whoever i leased it from would setup the thing for me since i dont know how. A few people here said i could get a dedicated for 150 a month but where?
Thanks for help! :)

Okay i just found catalog.com wich has a RaQ3, 64MB RAM, 10GB HDs, Apache, $199 monthly - 100GB/monthly transfer!
100GB of bandwidth that sounds great to me! i think i could use all that lol isnt the raq3 old now? I see raq4....... but how is there support and uptime anyone elese here hosted with them? I didn't see any fine print about a contract but im sure there is one? Why do all dedicated servers come with a contract?
The contract is there to protect them, and only them, and they can change it at any time or find ways around it, like Alabanza did.

Catalog gets good reviews as far as uptime and support, and since they have to set up the server, they usually want a minimum commitment on your part. It also spells out what they will exactly offer you, and what you can and can't do, etc.

Raq 3's are great machines to start out on if you nothing of admin, but they lack very badly in the hardware department and their default configuration is not secure at all. If you purchase a dedicated server, most hosts will install plesk free of charge and its just about as good as cobalt, plus its more secure, faster, and more stable.
