I registered a domain with namezero(a reseller of NSI) it was a .cc i registered it a few weeks ago. Well anyway i call them about 2 weeks ago to change my dns settings to mine so that my domain will be live on my servers. So it goes through but for some reason i'm seeing this stupid Enic page. Apparently they own the registry for .CC's. So i call namezero they say you need to contact NSI on it. So i talk NSI they say well everything is good on our side, and they were using the DIG command in unix seeing that it was pointing to enic. So they said that i need to contact them on the issue. So i'm like okay... will do. So i call Enic and they are like it clearly states in our contract with NSI that we do not support .CC's bought through them, and they say you need to contact NSI on it. SO i'm like well its going to your site, so obviously you did somthing to screw it up. And in the dig command in unix it shows ns1.global dns and a list of their name servers. So at this point i'm getting pissed. Now back to NSI they are all pissed that Enic wouldn't talk to me and are like they said that? So i'm like yes they did! And they send it up to their engineering dept. and tell me to call back. So i call back and get word back from the engineer that they say everythings good on our side. So the guy gets back on the phone and is like you will have to contact Enic, and i'm like THEY WON'T TALK TO ME! And he is like okay thats right, well i'll send this back up to the engineer's and have them contact Enic, and they tell me to call back tommorow. So i am going to call back tommorow, but at this point i have been waiting to launch my new biz, for 2 weeks still be delayed by this. What do you guys suggest i do? Call back tommorow and see if they can fix it? I am just pissed that they are such enimies that they can't pick up the phone and fix this issue. Its getting a little rediculous, please let me know what you think.

What is the domain? Maybe someone can offer you some suggestions for resolving this issue if we know what the domain name is.

Network Solutions used to be very difficult to deal with. I've had better luck since they were bought out--and I hate to admit that since I'm no fan of Verisign--but lately I've been able to get through to them on the phone and actually get things done.

I'm surprised that they were not able to help you... do you have a username and password for the domain that works on the enic site? Don't post the username/password here, of couse! :)

I just submitted changes with namezero to ns1.mydomain.com and ns2. I am hoping this will flush out all enics crap so that i may switch back over to my name servers! Wish me luck!
