Excuse my ignorance....but what exactly is neomail?

it is a web based email program that is free
it only supports text based email not html email.
figure you can check email via a web browser with it
there are lots of other packages out there like this
this is just one of them ;)

Neomail is one of the most common webmail packages for RaQ users because it has been made into the .pkg format, enabling novice admins to install it easily.

Personally, I think there are better scripts.

The install was easy and it's working fine and fast for me.

But what I don't like, a user can set any username as sender. While Neomail gives you a error message if the username not exists, it sends the mail anyway. Is there a way to fix this?

Every user can also login with any other virtual domain.

has anyone setup neo to use the space in the specific hosts directory.. I would rather it save the old emails / sent emails to the dir of the site rather then in the /home dir.. I have read and it says you can do that, it looks pretty simple as well.. Just wondering if anyone has it setup that way..

so everyone that instlled this is allowing it to use the space on the /home dir?
