View Full Version : Quote: The Great Satans = Americans?
Synergy 09-13-2001, 07:17 PM Saudi Arabians all believe and hate Americans.. The truth is that they are hating everyone in the world. Please note the following word:
::: AMERICAN :::
American consists of polish, indians, arabians, chinese, japanese, africans, vietnamese, canadians, irish, scottish, swedish, german, heck if you have a citizenship in the United States, your considered American.
They claim they are killing for the good of the people by removing the great satan, I think we should do the same and remove them as well since they are playing the acts of SATAN in this game.
Glexicon 09-13-2001, 07:23 PM Isn't America the melting pot of different cultures?
Look what you have just said, " think we should do the same and remove them as well since they are playing the acts of SATAN in this game"
Are you saying that we should do the same they did to us? Because you say so they believe in this.
Think about what 'they' said to them to make them believe to attack us.
I do not think I am making myself clear, but I hope you get it.
Synergy 09-13-2001, 07:28 PM I dunno i'm just angry over a couple lost friends....
I wouldn't be mad if they only hit pentagon but they hit the WTC where there were thousands of civilian workers and its not even war.
Glexicon 09-13-2001, 07:32 PM Since we do not know for sure who is responsible for this, I really feel pure hate for the people or things that created this disaster. But I do feel sorry for them too.
Synergy 09-13-2001, 08:07 PM Hijacked Planes' Black Boxes Located
Investigation Moves Forward in U.S. and Abroad
By PETE YOST
.c The Associated Press
WASHINGTON (Sept. 13) - Investigators recovered a black box recorder from the hijacked plane that went down in Pennsylvania, and searchers picked up a signal from the recorder in the jet that slammed into the Pentagon.
The investigation of the terrorist attacks moved forward Thursday both in the United States and abroad. German authorities said three of the terrorists who died in the suicide attacks were part of a group of Islamic extremists in Hamburg who have been planning attacks on the United States.
Hamburg investigators said two of the terrorists were Mohamed Atta, 33, and Marwan Alshehhi, 23, whose training at a Florida flight school has been the focus of intense FBI interest this week. The German investigators said the two were from the United Arab Emirates.
Acting on a tip from the FBI, police in Hamburg detained one man and were seeking another. The police did not say how the detainee might have been linked to the attacks.
Attorney General John Ashcroft said a total of 18 hijackers took over the four planes. The Justice Department had planned to release the hijackers' names and photos, but scrapped the plan.
''The FBI is working thousands and thousands of leads,'' Ashcroft said.
Search crews will not be able to retrieve the black box at the Pentagon until they are able to enter the collapsed area of the building where the plane's fuselage rests.
The recorders could contain information about the last minutes of the hijacked commercial jetliners.
FBI Special Agent Bill Crowley said the recorder was found at about 4:20 p.m. EDT in the 8-foot crater caused by the crash. Crowley said the recorder would be analyzed by the National Transportation Safety Board.
''We're hoping it will have some information pertinent to what happened on the plane,'' Crowley said. ''This development is going to help a lot.''
At New York's Kennedy airport, the FBI detained three people in connection with the investigation and ordered the Federal Aviation Administration to shut down all three airports in the area, law enforcement officials said.
One of the officials, speaking on condition of anonymity, said the shutdown was not ordered because of a bomb threat but rather in connection with the detentions.
Elsewhere, authorities searched a flight school in Minnesota where some of the hijackers may have trained, and they detained one man in the state. Also, they were looking for a Muslim cleric who previously was questioned by prosecutors in the 1990s embassy bombings case linked to bin Laden.
An FBI official was headed for the Azores Islands to interview two Iranians detained a week ago after they tried to travel to Canada with fake passports, authorities said. Mexican Defense Secretary Gen. Rafael Macedo said officials are searching the country for at least nine people who may have helped plan the attacks.
The Muslim cleric who was being sought, Moataz Al-Hallak, left the Northeast on Monday, the day before the attacks, and traveled to Texas, according to authorities and his lawyer.
Al-Hallak's lawyer, Stanley Cohen, said FBI agents want to question his client about whether he told people about the attacks before they occurred.
''I asked Moataz about it, and he was shocked and just laughed. It's preposterous,'' Cohen said.
Al-Hallak appeared three times before a federal grand jury in New York in the case of the U.S. Embassy bombings in Africa linked to bin Laden. He was never charged with wrongdoing.
Ashcroft said the FBI's 800-number hot line had received 2,055 calls. In addition, its Web site had received more than 22,700 tips, he said.
While the hijackers were all ticketed passengers, some of the hijackers may have used aliases to get on the planes, law enforcement officials said.
A number of people that could be involved in the plot were detained overnight for having false identification, Justice Department spokeswoman Mindy Tucker said.
One focus of the FBI is on flight schools in Florida and Minnesota that trained some of the men apparently involved in the hijackings. The owner of a Minnesota flight school said FBI agents had contacted him asking about specific people.
In Florida on Thursday, FBI agents were interviewing three Saudi Arabian flight engineers who are taking classes at Flightsafety International's school in Vero Beach, company spokesman Roger Ritchie said. He declined to name the engineers.
The school does not have simulators for Boeing 767 and 757 aircraft such as the ones involved in Tuesday's attacks, Ritchie said.
Thomas Quinn, a New York-based spokesman for Saudi Arabian Airlines, said many of the airline's pilots came to the United States for flight training.
The FBI questioned a Fort Smith, Ark., couple after telling police agencies across the state Wednesday that the woman was ''possibly related to the New York City terrorist attack,'' state police spokeswoman Kim Fontaine said. The husband was being held Thursday for federal immigration officials and the woman was taken away by agents and her whereabouts were not released, the Southwest Times Record newspaper at Fort Smith reported.

davidb 09-13-2001, 08:59 PM Many people hate us. Why? Who knows. Why does Ireland fight all the time. No one knows. Its just one of those things you can not change and we have to live with it. Its like religion, not much question just gets passed down
Webdude 09-13-2001, 11:17 PM Just remember, America is nothing but their scapegoat...someone to blame all their probs on. However, look at history and these mid-east coutries have been bickering and slaghtering each other for thousands of years before America ever existed. Throughout that history, they have always blamed their problems on someone else. Instead of fixing their probs, they blame. When the U.S. comes to a country's aid, the other side hates it. We have been on all their sides at one time or another. We simply decide to NOT side with wrong doers.....and the wrongdoers feel they are right and hate us for it. We only involve ourselves because one government or another has asked for our help.
Anyway, the point being that this has been going on for thousands of years, we are only their latest scapegoats. They claim we kill their people by providing arms and support to their enemies....yet over the centuries they have slaughtered far more of themselves than we ever could or would. However, what they consider a slaughter is when they attack an ally and we defend and kill a few of them, that is not slaughter, that is defece. If they were not attacking, not of them would get killed.
Kinda like a burglar going into your back yard and then trying to sue you because your dog eats him up.....he was the one in the wrong, as are these middle east liars and whiners..

Religion is one of the main reasons war exists on this planet.

I couldn't agree more.

Sorry but that has to be a pretty simplistic view. It's already been stated quite clearly by one prominent UK politician that Ben Laden was actually trained, supported and financed at one time by the CIA (not that I'm taking that as gospel)
I don't think ANY country can hold up a pure white copy sheet and say "We're completely innocent", none of them are.
And as for whinging and whining.. I think you'll find very few countries that own up to their own mistakes either.
Just my 2p worth
(SH)Saeed 09-14-2001, 02:38 PM Many people in the west world, raised with Coca Cola, hamburgers and American action movies can seriously wonder: What has USA done to be so hated and the target of terrorists?
A very small part of the answer is:
USA's support to Israel during the 34 year long occupation of Palestinan areas. Israel's uppertunity to under protection of USA easily building houses on Palestinian ground. Etc, etc..
In Iran USA is officially called "The great SATAN". Although a lot of Iranians moved to USA back when the Shah was ruling, many more still remember what CIA and Brittish intelligence (I think that's what they're called) did in 1953 to Mohammed Mossadeq protect the west world's "right" to Iran's oil. Not to mention everything they've done before and after 1979.
And the Vietnam war, where USA terrorbombed the poor North Vietnam's civilian areas and put in milions of dollars to support the brutal South Vietnam.
These are a small portion the things that you won't see or hear on television. Things that many people in the west don't even know anything about.
The only reason I'm posting this is because many people are wondering why would USA be called "the great satan", what have they done to be hated, etc..
I personally feel very bad for ALL people (specially the innocent ones, the civilians and their families) that have been victims of these wards and terror attacks. The latest, what happened in NY on Tuesday, that just reminds me of how evil this world is and how short a life can be and that you, I or anyone could be the next one to leave this earth.
JKLIVIN 09-14-2001, 03:51 PM Gosh, well now that you have pointed that out, I feel so sorry for the North Vietnamese that WERE SHOOTING BACK AT US!!!!! That was an extremely moronic statement. The U.S. isn't perfect, no nation is, no race is, no human being is, what happened this weeks is a bunch of disgruntled heathens murdered innocent civilians.
(SH)Saeed 09-14-2001, 06:56 PM Just make things clear. I'm not saying terrorism or war is the answer to anything, and I don't have anything against USA or it's people. I actually like that country, I've lived there ín the past and I have a lot of friends and family there. I'm just trying to explain why people in the Middle East see USA as the great satan. As I mentioned, I personally feel very bad for what happened on Tuesday. It's a very tragic incident and my condolences go to all of the victims families and friends.
kickster 03-18-2002, 12:15 PM JKLIVIN, the point is USA is trying to police the world for their own interest. This is a fact not a propaganda.

If he was in England he would be the wronged not the wrong doer....thats how it is in England these days....the victims are the criminals and all the real victims are criminalised. It's a topsy turvy world.
