Don't KIA's have a nasty build quality like Hyundai's?

it could, but from what ive seen they dont.. seems real solid for a north korean product thats fairly new too.
Thats why I posted here, to see what experinced KIA owners (if any) have thought

They're south korean, not north korean.
I looked at a 2004 Kia Rio... decided against it because its almost smaller than a Geo Metro (now Chevy Metro), no power steering, no radio, no AC, no power anything. $10,000 was the dealer price, and they wanted $1000 down $169/mo. ... I'll pass.

this is a 2002 sedona, their mini van
Its got leather, v-6, sunroof, movable seats (3 rows), dvd, alloys, 2 tone paint like eddie bauer expiditions, 10/100,000 mile drivetrain warr., roadside assitance for 3 years, cd player, crusie, tinted windows, front and rear air, and lots more for $14,500.
Its bigger than a mazda MPV but smaller than say a grand caravan. its only got 30,000 miles.
Ive heard some reviews on edmunds with the transmission and front windshield breaking but hell Ive seen many bad apples in all car lines...

My wife has had a KIA Sportage for over 5 years nows. We have had few problems with it. The local KIA dealership is easy to work with for warranty work.
I like some of the features of the sedona. It has pretty good pricing for minivans.
On the other hand I have had a Ford Windstar for four years with almost no problems at all.
