It's kind of a rhetorical question, to be honest, because I know strange fans aren't limited to strange celebrities. But on local radio they were talking about how Michael Jackson may have premeditated his alleged sexual contact with his accuser and that he had a videotape made by the boy and his mother saying that Jackson never touched him inappropriately. The claim is that he had the video done to basically give him carte blanche to do whatever he wanted with impunity.

So in searching for that material, I found this article and was interested in some of what Jackson's fans were saying:

Such as:

"It's really hard for us," said Pascale Hatot, a 37-year-old fan from the suburbs of Paris. "I haven't been able to sleep or eat for three days."

Huh? And...

"Is he creepy, no. Is he eccentric, yes. Different? Absolutely. I think that's what draws me to him," said Evan Williams, 28, who cranked a radio that played Jackson tunes.

Is he creepy, YES!

Thoughts?

Well its takes all sorts in this world. I had a hard time convincing my ex that Jackson was actually black when he was young. Then again she wasn't the brightest bulb in the box

This Pascale Hatot is 37. I'm in his age range (age 41) and I can't fathom being so affected by a celeb's misfortunate that I couldn't eat or sleep for three days.

Q:Are jacksons fans as strange as him?
A: No

Q: Does Jackson have, like any other celebrity does, strange fans?
A: Yes

I'm a fan of Jackson's music, i must admit, and i have always been interested in his career, since the mid 80's, yes he's a strange fella, yes he's a few sandwiches short of a picnic, no i do not believe he's a paedophile. In my opinion, Jackson is just a bit loopy, and doesn't have too much common sense. This does not make him a paedophile. Only the courts can decide that, based on evidence and testimony
