lets say you have the choice to wear only one thing for the rest of your life, what do you chose?

I live in the mid-west.. Where seasons vary.. Its nice to wear shorts in the summer when I'm around the house and you need pants in the winter.. And frankly.. I just don't have the legs for a skirt.. Maybe a nice sun dress to bring out the blue in my eyes...

I wear shorts through all seasons. I don't wear pants except for special events.

So yeah... shorts...

I live in florida... for 2 years i didn't even own a single pair of pants or jeans.

I like shorts and flip-flops. So i can flop around and people can hear me coming and get out of my way.

There's a person in our amatuer radio club who's a mail carrier and she always wears shorts or skirts year round, no matter how cold it gets. This is near San Francisco.

Same with me... I've been here in Florida for 2 1/2 years (where are you at Frosty?), and I've only worn shorts since I've been here. It really doesn't get cold enough down here to warrant jeans (only a few occasions where its been down right cold). I have a varsity type jacket in the closet that's been hanging there since we unpacked everything.

I don't wear flip flops though... can't stand them. But I do where my birkenstocks all the time though -- occasionally I put on my tennis shoes...

I say pants... I can't imagine myself (a male) wearing a skirt...

I wore a skirt once. It was at a BBQ and everyone decided they were going to "exchange clothes" with the person next to them (don't ask...lotsa drinkin'...)

Frankly, I found it quite liberating. The breeze was quite nice.

I envy you women...

During the summer I usually wear shorts around the house.

If I'm going out, regardless of weather, I'll wear pants (whether it be to a restaurant, or just downtown). If I'm just going over a friend's house, I'll wear shorts.

I'm currently wearing cargo shorts and a t-shirt.

Shorts...

80% of the year, I'm comfortably lounging around in shorts and a tank. If I must show my face in public, it's normally jeans and a t-shirt.

Whatever I wind up wearing, I'm more about comfort than fashion.

rockergrrl, i'm in West Palm Beach , FL :)
There seem to be quite alot of WHT members here who live in florida.

Vito, yeah right... guys have it about a million times easier than girls. Next time try wearing a bra and thong up your butt. Let's see how comfortable that is.

I've seen grown men, wearing Ballerina outfits, in platform shoes, holding stuffed animals.

Wearing a skirt is nothing. :D

EDIT: I mess up the past/present tense of verbs when I have been drinking.

i like skirts and dresses. In the summer i like sundresses. But in the winter, i need warmth... i want my jeans, and several pairs of socks.

You don't know what it was like trying to squeeze into a size 7 skirt. No mean task...

Thank God nobody had a camera.

Most Kilts aren't scottish of Origin, they are Gaelic, which eventually trails back to the mother land - Ireland

We have pictures of him in the tutu, platform shoes, etc.

One of my colleague's daughters decided to make him play dress up ... after they had gotten to the bottom of a Tequila bottle.

Hilarity soon followed.

I also live in FL and prefer pants year round. Whether if it slips to 20F, or up to 100F, I'm still wearing pants.

However, I wore a skirt a few times. Once for holloween, and the other times the g/f wanted to see how I'd look in one, and she ended up giving it to me cause she thought I looked "cute" in it... :eek2: But, she was a goth and was into that sort of thing... It's long, white with an army pattern with a mesh on the outside that gives it a dark look, not that floral BS... Luckily. no pictures exist of me ever wearing it, but it was quite comfortable.

None exist, as that would be a "recent" pic of me which the most recent pic of me that anyone has is when I was 16 (Im 22 now). I'm not a camera type person, and I've avoided getting my picture taken.

I'm sure 100% that nobody has a pic of me wearing it as I only wore it indoors. ;)

Personally, I prefer shorts over pants anyday. Even in the winter when it is below 10 degrees here and it's windy, I'll be out wearing shorts and a short sleave shirt. My friends think that I have no sort of feeling of temperature which may be true to a degree since I put my fingers on an electrical burning lighter all the time without it hurting. :)

MGCJerry, what part of Florida do you live in?
