I Bought a reseller plan to get a couple simple sites up for myself and with a ez-site builder I thought I could even sell some sights to cover my costs or even make a little bit. Well I haven't even finished my own first site and I have others wanting me to set up and build a site for them.

This is a little too much for me alone, but I can't aford to get someone to set every thing up. I talked to one company and they want to do every thing and charge me a small fortune. I just need some one to help me through it a couple of times and show me what I need to learn. I don't know who I need to ask. I wouldn't even mind giving the right person a persentage.

Who do I talk to, what questions do I ask and how can I find someone I can trust? Can anyone offer some direction for me?

Thank you in advance for any help .

Exactly what do you need to learn?

I need to set up couple of truck dealers, they have inventory on a free site ( the site is free but they spend thousands advertising in their magazine) but only have a basic one page site and want to have there own site. Can it be set up to use the other inventory/pictures or dose it need to be set upwith its own.

I hope this makes sence.

depends if they want to change the invetory... you should be able to copy the other site directly to another site... it all depends... maybe you/they should hire a webmaster to look into this for you... If you want to pay someone upfront, I'm sure they will do it for you... but I don't think this is the place to ask... but I'm not sure....

Oh, yea, and you can always tell them you can't help... that works wonders when I have too much other work to do... or my other favorite business practice is to quote one heck of a price and then give a deadline for like next April/May for completion (this is for companies I don't want to do business... if you do this they won't be back).

If they are spending thousands of dollars on advertising, the least they could do is spend a few thousand for a professional site. It only makes sense. heh.

Maybe you could hire someone down in the ad forums?
