My web site has got to big so im looking into dedicated servers (raqs) im not sure if i understand enough to do it or not. How does the IP address work that come with them most come with around 5 or 10 IP address. For the name servers you would use 2 different IPs right? Then each domain would only use 1 IP correct? please keep it simple or it will be over my head!

You pretty much have it right, however you can host many domain names on one IP Address. Appache web server has supported this from version 1.1 up from what I recall. It is all a matter of knowing how to do it, which I don't. There are instructions on how to do this in the Apache software manual.

I forgot to say that if your name servers are named like

ns.web.com ----------80.30.97.160
ns1.web.com----------80.30.97.161

and the name of your main site on the raq is web.com would you use the IP 80.30.97.160 or would you have use a differant one like 80.30.97.162 or will it work eather way? I read the raq3manual it dosent really say what you can and can't do.

I you run your primary name server on your cobalt rack at ip address of .60 you cold set up additional sites to use that same IP address regardless of the domain name or you could buy a block of IP's from your service provider and assign each site a different IP.
