Do you have any low specs servers? AMD MP 2000+ and 512 MB RAM is too much for me..

I just need a simple Celeron CPU and abt 256 MB RAM

Thanks!

I need:

CPU: ~400 MHz
RAM: ~128 MB
HDD: ~10 GB
Transfer: 500 GB

And BTW, how long have you been in business?

Thanks!

samtam

um.. it will be difficult to build one of those as it will seem uneconomical to do so
what kind of price range are you considering then ?
we have been in the computing business for quite a few years.

we been in mobile industry for 2 years and computing for 3.5.
at the beginning we used to build computer and server for people
it is still difficult to get a 20 gb hardisk
how about if you tell me how much are you willing to spend per month

The computing industry is a large area of expertise or are you evading the question :)

1) According to your other site www.applewanda.com your hosting site only came into force in May of this year

2) Your site has been down all day and the server cannot be reached - not a good advertisement for selling high spec dedicated servers

3) Email is being bounced

<edit> looks like it is back up now

Hello Goldwing, I can see that you have done your homework on me.
We used to build computer + server for people and do a bit of mobile phone repair as well.
Of course web design is one of them.
The reason it is down is because a new router has been installed and currently under config at the moment

samtam

80.253.115.72 or 80.253.115.116
the ip may seem to be unaccessiable sometimes today because we are doing some upgrades on your network.

Goldwing

Samtam

I am not degrading your services but how professional an organisation are you ?

The host name for the ip you sent 80.253.115.116 resolves to :-

****.the.oper.who.g-lined.us The **** is the interesting four letter expletive which WHT masks out

<Hacked server??>

If your network is down does that mean all your clients are down as well?

samtam
11-24-2003, 07:12 AM
the 72 server is being upgrading at the moment
while the other server 116 us a server belong to a client of mine.

He wants to name his line for game server then why should I really care.

Because you supplied the IP as a test IP and that in turn will reflect on your company and many will find that offensive but hey! it's your choice - good luck.

Maxtor is what we use .
But we are very flexiable on the hardisk, therefore if you want other made we could try to get hold of them as well/

This whole thread is suspect

samtam

Based on what evidence can you make such assumption.

Or are you just getting bored and want someone to talk to you.

Poor guy....

1) A 1TB disk drive - come on, in your last answer it seems you are unaware what 1TB is, you certainly did not see the sarcasm in the post.

2) Posting of systems you cannot supply is a risky business

3) A supporter with no other posts suddenly comes up and posts a good remark about you and then disappears and never posts again

4) As far as i know it is against the rules to bump a thread

5) The hostnames of your customers machines says bundles on the type of customer you are aiming at.

PS what makes you think I am a "Guy"

well if you want me to come back i'm back i do actualy rent one of his servers i actualy do visit the datacenter.

i also know you visit my website in the profile is that why i come here to check the referal in my logs.

i don't have nothing to do with this guy only a cusomer of him if you check my last post or my first post you will see i whas looking for a dedicated machine in UK

I want the dedicated server to make game server for my clan and rent to some people

This guy still not set up my server he say it will we done no later then tomorrow. Hope so and i believe it go na be like that.

Now you can believe whatever you want i'm free to say whatever i want if i'm happy with a service i get.

Do you offer you customers the oportunity to visit the datacenter where you have your servers?

please look at yourself before you start acusing others and putting people like me in the middle.

i know my english sucks but as it i not my first language i done ok i think you will understand

Goldwing
12-02-2003, 07:19 AM
Fine whatever!! I personally dont care that much

You claim to be happy with the service but admit you have not got the server yet !!!!!

You write in the same semi-broken english as the poster

You appear at the same time the poster tries to bump the thread

All of which makes me suspicious

I really want some of those 1Tb drives though

Anyway I am unsubscribing from this thread other people can make their own minds up.

portos24

well wathever i'm spanish so i do it good enough.

Also i recive the server today as promised.

I know the kind of person you are as i check a few other posts from you.

You laugh about people.
You always try to put people post down
You are always unrespectfull with other member

1.- English languange is not the only one in the word (Wonder if you speak any other language)
2-Are you jelous of not be able to offer same package at that prices
3-As i say before look at yourself first Mr Perfect

About the 1TB hard drive i think is a typo he make but i don't know is up to him to answer that.

Also they do exist if you want them just check any major search engine and you will find it not a standard hard drive but a mounted one (Ho is the ignorant now then?)

Goldwing
12-02-2003, 08:57 PM
Were you born daft or did you go to college to obtain a diploma

You laugh about people.
Care to link the posts but hey if I find something funny I do have a sense of humour

You always try to put people post down
I state my opinion not put people down

1.- English languange is not the only one in the word (Wonder if you speak any other language)
I never take issue with anyones use of English and if you had really read my posts you would have found me backing up someone recently on that very issue.

3-As i say before look at yourself first Mr Perfect
Far from perfect but i am working on it

(Ho is the ignorant now then?)
I dont know whats your name so i can tell you

For your information Samtam has advertised a 1TB drive in a package, if he is located in the UK and under UK/EU law if someone was to order this and was accepted then the buyer has a right to expect that to be installed. This was pointed out to him by someone else in the thread and basically ignored.

Now if he is offereng a $5000 drive in a system costing just over $400 a month then I am sure there will be lots of people interested in his products.
BTW I am sure it is a typo so why is it not fixed, anyway i have better things to do than play with kids on a forum and will unsubscribe from this thread ( forgot to click the link the last time).

1) That coming from a person that supplies Samtam adds a lot of credence to the argument.

2) Seems your services have had a few hiccups in the past http://www.webhostingtalk.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=149523

3) You did indeed offer me a server quote just the other week however I am rather fussy with who I deal with as well.

4) I have been in touch with Portos in PM to clarify ( and apologise) for some of my comments if have been wrong and would offer the same courtesy to Samtam

5) 22 years in business 8 in hosting with a portfolio of entirely small business customers, no spam problems, no porn, no illegal activities, personal approval of each account , good payer hell yes I can understand why a company of your ilk would not want to do business given the chance

6) Attitude - yes I was born with it if you dont like it that is your problem - deal with it
