i did the whm account transfer and now all my sites are coming up where if you go to them all you get is an index of the /

If you're just getting the file list, then it sounds like the transfer has not yet been made.

try to do one at a time first to see if it works properly.

are the files listed in the directory listing ? If so, it could be just a .htaccess issue or apache isn't setup correctly to index the right file names like your previous host.

yea it ended up being that httpd.conf wasn't properly configured
