There is a good news for cobalt raq admins.
I found & installed neomail as pkg on raq which works fine on raq.
the pkg is available from
http://pkg.nl.cobalt.com/packages/raq/4/

I've just installed neomail on my raq4 but it doesn't seem to work !
When I type in www.domain.com/neomail a config page comes up, I enter everything but then in my inbox it says that I have got no E.mails whereas with web2mail.com it says that I have.
I've tried sending messages to my mail box but none of them come up in the mail list !

Of corse, otherwise it wouldn't be offered as a free download on the cobalt site!

Please could someone help me! I have installed the neomail from the cobalt page but I can't check my mail. It just says that there aren't any messages, have a look :
Go to http://www.id01.org/neomail with user:ddd and pass : ddd
Then try sending trial messages to ddd@id01.oeg and you will see that it still says that there are no messages, and yet it would be such a nice program to have on our server !!!

I have just found out that I can send messages with it but I just can't recieve messages with it ! Please could someone try and help !

To answer my own question:

I just installed it on a raq4i, in less then 2 minutes.

It workes perfectly !!

I'm hasitating to install it on my raq3 as there are 100 sites on that machine...

There is now a newer pkg for neomail at pkg.nl.cobalt.com

neomail-1.25-2.pkg instead of neomail-1.25-1.pkg which INBOX did not work on.

I downloaded the Neomail pkg and installed it but what is the passwoed and where or how do you get into a admin menu or isn't there any?

I do not know of an admin menu. Once installed you should only need to enter "http://www.domain.com/neomail" and you will be at a user and password screen.

Please note there is also a version 3 out on the cobalt site now.

In my case the old also worked.
but i have Installed the new one today which is availble from cobalt site today.http://pkg.nl.cobalt.com/packages/raq/4/
It works Perfectly allright.

this sort out webmail issue with cobalt.
Also if you want squirrelmail also works Fine on IMAP on cobalt RaQ4i.

How do you uninstall the 1st version?

It's alright, I tried installing the new one without uninstalling the 1st one and it replaced the 1st one with no problems and now works fine (version 3)
