Hi all..

Well I have 3 Dual Xeon and 1 P3 servers at nocster/burst. Always been pretty happy. The last dual xeon took some 4 weeks to arrive. I now have another dual xeon on order that i ordered 6 weeks ago and still have not recieved. Furthermore the burst AIM support ignores me, I have 3 support tickets that are sitting their unanswered for up to a week now. I ordered a p4 a couple days ago and was told that there would be a rush put on it... billing dont reply about this rush and cannot even confirm they have recieved my order

Every week burst have a new excuse why my dual xeon ive been waiting for 6 weeks has not arrived, funny thing is i ordered this one 3 days before i ordered my last one... yet i recieved that one 2 weeks ago! My friend who owns another hosting company waited 7 and a half weeks for her last dual xeon.

Every week they have a new reason why the server isnt here, waiting for caseings to arrive, motherboards on back order etc. etc. They then give me an expected time that never comes true. Now they dont even provider any support on anything!

Then there was yesterdays 4 hour downtime i recieved and many others recieved on all my servers. For the last 2 weeks they've been having continual connection problems. They got to big for themselves and now they are so unhelpful and unprofessional it is like they are not even a company. You call them and they say sorry we cant answer support tickets here please post a ticket or talk to AIM. Aim ignores me (despite the fact he was on available for the last 4 times i msged them) and the tickets sit there! Unanswered! No says anything.. continually give everyone the run around.. meanwhile my company suffers and my customers waiting on servers suffer because of bursts unprofessionalism. What is even funnier is that at the time of this dual xeon order they told me it would be here in 3-5 days. Not only was it not here in 3-5 days, not even 3-5 weeks!

Now I have written to them asking for a refund so i can order the dual xeon somewhere else.. i will probably get no reply and refund but it is worth a try :)

Perhaps burst could answer this here.. as they seem to spend more time answering WHT posts than their own support tickets

Any other people in the same boat as me? Please speak up!

Burst has had problems obtaining Dual Xeon hardware from their supplier, and therefore have stopped offering them for the moment. I cannot comment on you delay since I don't work at Burst, but once Monday comes around, give them a call and ask to speak to Mike about your issue.

lachlanm:

Please email me your ticket # or server name, and I will personally look into this matter for you. We do currently now have Xeon hardware in stock, and can complete your order immediately. All Xeon orders have been filled except for two right now, so it would have been filled this weekend regardless.

It is true that we have had delays with Xeon hardware and delivery. For this reason we ceased taken Xeon order several weks ago, until this was resolved. As of Monday, we expect to once again be accepting Xeon orders, and filling them in a reasonable timeframe.

As far as a refund goes, we do not bill until server is delivered, so no refund is warranted here...as you were never charged.

I await your email to ceo@burst.net, and will get this resolved for you today, once I hear from you.

Warm Regards,

oh and i already paid for the server when i ordered it... Burst does not charge a client until a server is setup.

Did you get your machine directly through Burst or through a reseller ? If it is burst, Joshua is right, Burst although takes down your credit card details, they do not charge you until your server is built. If you got it through a reseller, the reseller would probably charge you at sign up time but in turn he would not be billed under Burst build the machine. During that time, the funds would be float to the reseller.

Reseller... they always asked for the money upfront... so i assumed this was how it is done.. though the CEO has told me next time not to pay until i have been billed

Well burst ceo got my dual xeon and is looking into my other billing etc. problems and waiting on the 2nd P4 server... so far so good

Will update everyone on how it goes.. im glad someone finally helped us out..

Thankyou to burst.

1. The ceo got my dual xeon that day
2. The ceo got my P4 the next day
3. He forwarded my issue to customer service, i get a call on my mobile today from Mike from customer service, offering compensation for the wait and was very impressed, could not believe it :D
4. Billing issue not yet resolved, the first payment for the dual xeon isnt credited and the p4 isnt billed yet but i will send a ticket in about this now

Thanx to burst and i hope that they can offer and fix up everyone else with problems and i hope that things sort themselves out as they seem to be doing so that we do not need to take such extreme measures to get noticed

Thankyou :)
