Because there is no such thing as a "unlimited space HD" If a host even offers that then I would not go with them as it is a lie. Now, you could stick in like 2X120 GB HD's or even bigger HD's, but its not going to be unlimited. IRCCo Jeff 11-22-2003, 05:16 AM In theory you could mount everything to network storage and continually scale to larger arrays ;) DanH 11-22-2003, 05:19 AM There could never be unlimited space as our people have yet to invent the unlimited Hard drive. You can though buy many hard-drives and buy more as you grow but not a wise descision Same with bandwidth, It costs money if you start using to much I bet your host would chuch you off. But there are hosts that do offer it though, I am not naming names though. All I say is read the tos and aup very carefully. It's just a play on words to make the buyer think they have got lots Have A Nice Day Dan aingaran 11-24-2003, 10:29 PM Does anyone have any magic beans? deltawolf 11-24-2003, 10:38 PM Unlimited space? I wish...lol. Bandwidth may be unmetered, but its not unlimited. WCHost 11-25-2003, 12:57 AM Lolz..in some australia company, they put bandwidth as unlimited and even Hong Kong Webhosting, they can't verify which one is correct. So they put as unlimited. When i wrote unmetered, they think of something else and say we aren't provide unlimited @@ (Hong Kong internet is unmetered because hong kong is rank #1 that have the cheapest internet fees) wheimeng 11-25-2003, 03:01 AM I thought it was supposed to be Korea or Finland? |
