What type of web site are you running and what type of content is present? If you are transferring 1 GB per day, then you must have a large number of visitors. When a site transfers that much content, it will often have trouble with CPU usage on a virtual host even if it does not have a lot of CGI usage. I would suggest you look at a dedicated and/or co-located server. It will be a little more expensive, but in the long run it may be a better solution for you.

I would have to agree. And besides why would you want a virtual server when for the same price you can get a dedicated server.

i dont know how to setup and run a dedicated!! show me where i can get a dedicated server with 45GB for $150 a month. I checked out cheapservers.net wich i guess is yours none of the plans where under 150 unless it was for 5GB a month but i did like the looks of LI1 Intel P3 500mhz is that colocation? but like i said i dont know how to setup the thing and i hear bad things about raqs and good i dont know what x86 Processor is but why does the raq cost more than a intel box?

The RaQ's cost more than an Intel box only because it is a "name brand" server so to speak. If you priced a IBM or DELL intel server, you'd wonder why it is so expensive as well. You can build (or have a server built) for less than the price of a new IBM server.

The RaQ3's have a 300Mhz AMD K6-2 processor. For one site pushing 30gigs/mo a RaQ would do you fine. RaQ4's have a 450Mhz processor, and that might be all you'll be able to find (as RaQ3 is the older model). You'll have to check availability on a RaQ3 (sure they are still out there, but not sure how long...).
