How do you transfer a website seamlessly from server A to server B (using cpanel)?
Even if you are able to transfer *mywebsite.com* from server A to B in 10 minutes it would still about 2 days for the nameservers to point to the new server isn't it?
So in these 2 days people accessing mywebsite.com to post their blogs (or accesing cpanel, etc) would actually be making changes to server A right? And such changes wouldn't be reflected in server B.

Should be no problem without any downtime. When the nameservers takes effect it will point to the new server. Yes some file may not be up todate on server B but after the transfer you can again do the transfer to update the files

Yeah except that when the nameservers point to the new server. It will be displaying 2 days old content and this is what I would like to avoid.

It's been explained before how to avoid that... do a search...
quick overview:
set TTL low
- change IPs in zone files on old server to point to the new IPs
- wait TTL + a bit more
- change nameservers
presto.

I do agree manipulating your SOA and DNS will speed updating of your DNS but if only your domain registrar is willing to co-operate to expedite updating the database records for your domain.
Even though you can reduce the TTL to 3600(1 hour) secs the minimum time it will not work wonders, you still need your domain registrar's assistance.

I've moved 100s of accounts and never had a need for that... whichever nameserver is "found", both would point to the same IP...

I've done a search but I'm still confused. I don't even know where to change this TTL thing.

If you are talkin about doing it in my old server's WHM I can't find the option of changing it. I can only add and delete a DNS zone.

You need to ask your provider to give you access to the MODIFY/EDIT dns zone feature.
