I was working with Xara x on a very important project, i'm used to save file everytime i add something to the design, so i was saving file, when my PC restarted on it's own, now i'm trying to open the same file so i could finish it, it wont open the file is corrupted -i think- so it loads 26% then it crashes.
i have win restore disabled :crap: , and i only created this file yesterday, so no backup .

i'm sure that everything is still inside the file- i mean the data- because file size is still the same as b4 the crash.

what i am looking for is , a file recovery software, that can help.
this will save me 4 hours of work doing the same file again.
any help would be great, thank you

What program did you use to create the file? what kind of file is this? We need more details sir.

it's an (XARA X) file, extention .xar , i already said that in my port.
Xara is like coral draw or somthing.

You may want to try a file recovery program and see if it can recover it. I presently use PC INSPECTOR™ File Recovery (http://www.pcinspector.de/file_recovery/uk/welcome.htm) and I'm impressed with its ability and its freeware.

If something like this doesnt work, you may have the task of starting over. :(

Thanks TC, i wasn't wasting time anyway, i was resting, i was sure that i will have to create it, but as a designer like me, imagine losing the layout of the biggiest company in Town, what will you do then :D

anyway, i will try MGC progy, i hope it works , thanks MGC
