Whenever I use sendmail to send any HTML tags, it comes out in plain text. How can I make it so when the recipient views the e-mail, they see the images and links that I put in?

I'm referring to embedding images in the e-mail, I can get hypertext links in the e-mail to work fine. Anyone know how to embed images?
