I'm wondering if we could all put our minds together for a sec and share the cheapest dedicated hosting services we know of. I'm looking for a low-quality box with as much bandwidth as possible.

ServerMatrix.com has a celron 1.8ghz, w/ 40gb harddrive for $59/month. Anyone know of anything cheaper?

Rigth when I loaded the page I noticed an ad for i think it was called Server4You or something, it was 50/month for a box w/ 700GB of transfer.

Anyway, anyone know a place that can beat $0.06 per GB? (ServerMatrix.com).

The managed.com servers only have 1000gb transfer, but 1200gb the first month.
Secondly, the first month is 55/month, but the monts after that they will be 70/month. Just to let you know :)

Also, ServerMatrix only has a 10mbit connection to the server, but that can be upgraded to 100mbit for 10/month i thought.

And about ServerMatrix, you're right about the 10mbit connection and upgrade to 100mbit for + 10/month - but I'm not nessesarily looking for a 100mbit connection. 10mbps can push around 3.3TB/month maxxed 24/7 -- I'm looking for unmetered 10mbps for CHEAP or the closest thing to it. I dont care about box specs or speeds for that matter as long as they are at least 10mbit.

Go with ServerMatrix. You won't find anything alot cheaper, and the service is, for what i've heard and read, very good compairing to their price. Go for it!

What are you planning on hosting, just curious..

Hi Weppel,

Acutally, the fee is still $55.00 per month with 1,000GB (without Cpanel) for as long as you use the server. Cpanel is free the first month. We can activate your server without Cpanel pre-installed so all you have to pay is $55.00 per month.

If you want to keep using Cpanel, just add another $19.95. Also, each server get 100Mbps burstability as a standard feature and at no additional cost.

Thanks for correcting me, it's still quit early in the morning here, and couldn't remember the exact details.

This looks like a tempting offer to me, i might give it a go for 1 month, just for testing it, and to let people know what your company is like.
