Hi all, Ive been with Hostrocket for about 6 months now, never had a problem, until recently.

Their servers have been rocking more than a rocking chair ! Every few hours, its down. Sometimes, it gives errors that the data is not there, which is basically putting users OFF my site !!

I have written a letter of complain to them on HIGH priority, and have received nothing yet. Its really annoying as I payed for this service and should be treated first class.

My question to anyone out there is, IS anyone else experiencing problems like me ?

If so, let me know here so I can make it a point in my next trouble email to them.

Thanks for reading out

Thanks mate, exactly what I wanted to see. Atleast this will show people its a GENUINE complaint against HOST ROCKET.

Everyone go to that thread and complain if you are having problems with HR.

Thanks again

After going thru this thread and a couple more + my own bad experience with Hostrocket I have totally to agree to the subject line of this thread.

Hope people are aware of HR's bad business behaviour and will stay away from that guy.

Before I moved from a provider that I had been with for 2.5 years, HostRocket.com was one of the hosts that I was keeping my eyes on, reading about them in forums such as this one, going to their own forums from time to time helped greatly.

Two things I found to be common problems were support tickets and reported down time at HR. Say this way to many times!

Thus, I never did sign on with them and are glad I didn't. :D

Well first off lemme say I didnt start that thread in order to bash HR.

This morning I had some problems, but it was because my account was being moved to a new server. Right now everything is running excellent. My site seems to be faster loading too (and it was darn fast before the move).

I see alot of ppl complaining about turnaround time, slow response to TTs etc. I've been an HR customer since Late April of this year, and all of the TT's that I've sent, they have all been replied to promptly, the longest being a day or so. Heck, this morning when I was having probs my TTs were replied to very quicky, seemingly every hour. So I dont know what the deal is, but TTs on my end have been replied to very quickly. The support imo is very good.

Plus, for the price I get alot, cant complain there. The cpanel, transfer/space, features etc I think are outstanding at such a low price.

Overall Im very very satisfied with HR and would suggest them in a heartbeat. Just my .02 cents.

JoeMX3D, I read your thread this morning. Yes, you were bagging on them and using this forum to force support. Instead of cover your tracks and back track, maybe you should not post support issues about your host here until you have contacted them. Your replies here certainaly were not even close to what you posted and now edited from this mornings post.

I am not flaming you, I just get tired of customers coming here, venting or flaming, then apologizing once the issue is resolved.

nope.

I never said they sucked or that I hated them or anything. I was just asking if anyone else was having problems. And I did contact them when I posted that. I never started that thread for ppl to bash HR, I was merely asking if other customers were having issues, thats it.

The matter has been resolved, so I edited the msgs. Not to backtrack, but because its of no matter now.

Like I said, if the post was out of place my bad.

I think I'll log off and just stick to reading the board from now on..

Lol I wish. I've always been positive about HR. It has its problems, but what webhost doesnt. Just because you have problems doesnt mean everyone else does. Mine got resolved quickly, and Im just stating that.

But whatever, Im not gonna fan the flames more. You guys go ahead, I'll go elsewhere.

I don't think he got a couple of months of free hosting.

It's rather the threat of having his account shutdown immediately by Hostrocket staff. HR has a bad attitude and people should leave them as soon as possible.

Before you move - make sure you update the billing information to a bogus number so that they can't charge you unauthorized like they did it with me.

Cyrus you have some serious balls, I was having trouble locating your account and just figured out why. You were cancelled in our billing system because you used fradulent credit card info to signup your account, and your account somehow got left on the server.

Thats why your account name was supposedly in texas, your ips resolve to chile, and you never ever put a name on your trouble tickets.

You dont have to worry you dont have any stolen hosting to complain about anymore.

Cyrus you have some serious balls,

Just wondering how could it get through your billing system?

Well it didnt really get through the billing system as the account was closed in that. The billing system and server admin systems interface with one another but are independant so the account apparently didnt get removed from the server when it was from the billing system.

I feel this thread is beginning to turn into a legal issue.

Im sure the host is not in a position to post private information about "Cyrus" so I personally think this matter should be taken privately or submitted to your credit card company for fraud purposes.

HostRocket, if you can submit the IP address that was logged on your billing system when Cyrus supposedly signed up we will check our logs and IP history to see if Cyrus is in any way related to the IP.

Please submit to : moderators@webhostingtalk.com

and I will reply privately with my findings.
