Hey.
I was just wondering what the requirements for a good web server, but with a low budget. Targeting from $600-$1000
The co-location costs are easy to me . . . so don't mind that.
I am currently in the Game Server hosting buisness, and I have no clue what the web server requirements are. I know game servers take MORE resources, but I was wondering what web server requirements exactly are.
Pitch in all of what you experience, forums, mysql databases, etc.
What takes more resources..
What takes least resources..
Should I get a dual P3 CPU with 512 KB cache?
Would it matter if I had more cache?
Can a single P4 2.4 GHz 512 KB cache, beat a dual P3 1.0 ghz 512 kb cache?
Should RAM matter? How much should I install.... ?
Rather then that, please disregard posting control panel's, I'm just looking for hardware specs.............
last q.... how much accounts/users your system hold? and what estimate do you earn per month? (if you feel saying your income is confidential, then dont post, but I'd like a estimate.)
Thanks!
