I just installed RedHat on my computer and I am having trouble getting the LinkSys NIC to work in linux.

Someone who lives near me who knows alot of redhat was trying to help me out but he seemed to be confused as why my network card wasn't working.

One thing he mentioned was something about tulip drivers for the Linksys NIC I had?

i found this:

and it says that all RH versions above 6.0 should already have a tulip driver that should work correcltly.

I even tried to follow the directions to recompile the module (whatever that means) but when i type in the first long command - it gave me an error message saying that some psi-scan(or something).h was missing..

so anyone have any ideas?
