Want a dedicated with WHM/Cpanel but have never used this control panel before.

1. Can one create resellers easily? Any frequent problems with a Cpanel dedictaed?

2. It seems to have lots of software options (for example 3 stats progs, etc.). Should the ISP be asked to do a default install or only selected packages?

3. Any important things one should communicate to a dedicated provider during install of WHM/Cpanel?

4. Lastly, why is it so difficult to find latest WHM/Cpanel manuals?
Thanks fr your opinions.

Creating a reseller is simple with a WHM/Cpanel server. You would however need to create the reseller as a normal user first then grant that account reseller's rights. I don't see any problems with that since it is just standard set up.

Cpanel does give you several options to the same thing. You could turn on and off options which you want to offer your clients.

The manual should be found on http://www.cpanel.net . Not sur if they updated it as yet.

Thank you.
Can you please clarify a couple of points:
1. You said options can be turned on or off, but do all these options have to be installed in the first place?

2. Do dedicated providers do default WHM/Cpanel installations with all packages included?

3. If not, are there any important things one should communicate to a dedicated provider before the first time installation of WHM/Cpanel?

4. Are there any very good managed dedicated providers who also provide WHM/Cpanel support incase something breaks?
