Mr. See and Mr. Soar were old friends. See owned a saw and Soar owned a seesaw. Now See's saw sawed Soar's seesaw before Soar saw See, which made Soar sore. Had Soar seen See's saw before See saw Soar's seesaw, then See's saw would not have sawed Soar's seesaw. But See saw Soar and Soar's seesaw before Soar saw See's saw, so See's saw sawed Soar's seesaw. It was a shame to let See see Soar so sore just because See's saw sawed Soar's seesaw.

The trick is to just mumble incoherently .... just like a webhost explaining what he does for a living ... and nobody will notice the odd mistake or three. :rolleyes:

That was easy to read. An easy way to read it is to be able to ignore what your mind wants to read and actually read the words. We're so used to those common words that our mind would want to associate "Soar" and "See" with their textbook meanings instead of actual names.

Ah, the English language is so messy.

I was trying to read it so slowly not to mess up, and a read one of the words backwards, i read Saw as Was.. somehow..

That's something one of my old instructors at B-Casting school would have loved.
He used to pick stuff like that and make you read it out loud to practice live copy reading.
His theroy was if you could live read a tounge twister like that reading live news copy should be easy..

The thing is, it did BEF at the end of the passage too, and there was no "before" there. That's why I asked.

I just said see saw see saw x 100 and sounded the same ;)

i messed up that same line MGCJerry, that and soar's seesaw screwed me up. The only mistake.
