Hi im trying to find out how i can change file CHMOD on my computer. I already have it to connect to this domain http://www.badhost.net and i got it to work. But i would like to be able to connect to it via FTP and access my files remotly.

Sorry if I dont understand exactly. Are you trying to connect to your website from your home computer through FTP. And then CHMOD the files on your server??

If this is correct, then your FTP program should have a way to CHMOD the selected files and folders on your server.

Right click your mouse and select option to chmod the file/directory. It's usually quite easy to chmod it via any FTP client.
