Is Cpanel.net down or something? I haven't been able to get to their forums for about 24 hours now?

Anyone else?

Wow!

I think they actually locked me out.

I just got in from another computer account ..

For the life of me I can't figure out what I would have done to deserve that? In fact I haven't posted since last week, when I was helping others, so who knows. I hope they aren't that sensitive.

You can look at my posts: Account: Brad

I just fired of a message to them, well see if I get a response?

Edited: Looks like some kind of network problem, Nicks working on it ..

it is probably just a routing problem or maybe even a internal network problem. Does you friend use a differnt ISP?

It's dropping right at Cpanel.net .. Good trace all the way to them, then it has 100% loss at their site.

If I use same connection but travel through safeweb I get right in, no problems.

sounds like line condition. When you guys trace in, what backbone are it resolving to? If you're both coming in via AT&T (for example) and it's dying that might explain it. No company is their right mind kills IP's when they've got something to sell. :)

No,

It's dropping out within their Sprint Network at Burst. It's the handoff from 144.232.5.198 (last node before destination) to (rdns1.hostnoc.net - support.cpanel.net) 205.162.50.248 .

I see it is still down!

I noticed NOCSoft (http://nocsoft.net/) is now up, although most of the links aren't set yet.

I hope NOCsoft is released soon!

I hope so!
It went from mid-August, to mid-fall, hopefully it will be out soon.

nocsoft™.net™ has 16 "™" signs. I think that's a bit much... :)

glad i'm not alone, i also thought i was locked out. :o
i haven't been able to get there for 3 days or so. i thought i was locked out since at the same time nick stopped logging on to aim (thought he blocked me there too). for why (i've never flamed or anything), that i didn't know but i also could get to burstnet site and nocsoft so also added to the idea they blocked me just from cpanel.net. maybe blocked my ip block or something on that particular server.

i surfed in through a free proxy and my account there is still active, so no longer think i am being blocked on purpose. must be network issues was my last thought on it. i use @home, was wondering if you used the same service brad.

Routing issue with old IPs from Sprint.
Our AT&T DS3 went live on Friday, and we are now running BGP4 for redundancy over our two lines. This works great for our ARIN blocks of IPs, however, there has been some issues with some old IPs we had directly from Sprint. For some reason AT&T tried to route them....? Dunno...We didn't understand why they would try that either. Regardless, Sprint added static routes for them, and the matter should be cleared up now...except possibly for those of you coming in from AT&T...but they should be cleared up soon as well, if not already. Of course all older Sprint IPs will be getting replaced with new IPs from ARIN in the near future, but it is mostly internal BurstNET machines using them, so it's really not a big issue.

Dahlia,

Yes, we use AT&T/Mediaone.

Sean, it's still not getting through as of Sunday, Sept. 9th 04:00 PM PST ..
