My free credit on ProPay just ended and I noticed something. They take money when you get cash and when you withdrawal it to your checking account. I know PayPal offeres transfers for free. Do other places do the same or is this normal to charge you 2 times?
I would stop going with ProPay because of this but I have no other way of doing credit cards without paying more.

I think ProPay charges .35 for each transaction (+ the discount rate) AND .35 for every withdrawal. The advantage is that you can request a withdrawal any time, where as most places have it set for like ever 15 or 30 days.

I had a guy pay me $16.95. ProPay took $0.94 when it was added to my ProPay account. When I took that out they took $0.46 to make it $15.55

Theres no answer to that question.
Everybody charges for differnet things, depends on the company.
Some hosting companies offer free IP
some hosting companies Charge you 5$ it.
Short Answer. They want more money.
Thats what business is all bout. :D

What could that possibly accomplish? I would recommend if you don't like someone's pricing, simply don't use them.
Here's an example of double-dipping that chaps my but-tox:
Someone sent me a payment via PayPal the other day. They paid the fee. So I get the payment, and PayPal charges again because I have a verified whateveryoucallit account.

Only Premier/Business accounts are charged a fee when receiving money.
Users are charged for check withdrawals ($1.50), but they are not charged for electronic deposits (in or out).

I was wrong. The lady that sent it to me told me she also had to pay, but it turns out she's just stupid.
