As I am not a designer, please excuse any crude assumptions.....

I am a host who has just picked up a client and am trying to help him out.

This client paid a "designer" to create a flash site for him. After much delay etc the designer uploaded the site to my server and it does NOTHING..

Files that were uploaded are (index.html and the .swf file) the index page loads and is just a mustard color background but the .swf seems to do nothing.

The designer uploaded these files into the "www" folder which would be correct for an html site..

Can anyone give me some advice????

Could you post the url of the site? That may help.

Yep, that would help. All the index file should do is embed the SWF. If the code is faulty, I'll post the new code here for you.

Ok, well there's two theories here.

One, it's because you aren't waiting long enough, as the .SWF file is 5.7 MB.

Or two, it just wasn't made right. Or saved right.

If you go to www.howardwatson.net/howard.swf, you won't see anything. The only cause of that would be a transparent .SWF and white text. But as that's not too likely, it's probably just a bad SWF.
