Could someone give me a good guide/tutorial on how to install mysql on a raq3 from the rpm's, because the mysql package file is giving me problems, Or if you could just exact telnet commands here to install it thanks, Mike

How is the .pkg giving you problems? I know that when I installed mySQL for the first time on my RaQ3, I thought it wasn't working. It was, however. Here is the problem you WILL run into if it is installed correctly. If you try to install it without removing the .pkg version, mySQL will not install. So, to combat this, first check your control panel to see if mySQL has been installed (it should be listed under your installed components). If it is, you will need to follow the instructions on the cobalt site to remove it. To install the mySQL rpm version, simply follow the installation instructions given on mySQL's website. Their instructions will work on the RaQ3.
